The set contains extracts from Björling's first studio opera recording Il trovatore from 1952 as well as his Grammy-awarded LP Björling in Opera. The booklet accompanying this set includes an introduction by singing expert Jürgen Kesting and features comprehensive discographical notes and matrix nos.
